Steps to convert California Driving Permit to California Drivers License
Step:1
California Teens should have their California course completion Certification (Form OL 237). They can get this certificate by doing California driver education through online or through class room courses. The age limit for the California teens to do their driver education course is at least 15 years. The course is available both online and class room. After completion of their course the course providers will send them the certificate of completion. Teens has to take their certificate of completion to DMV which proves that they have passed California Driver Education course and allow them to take their Permit Test.
Step2:
In the second step teens should enroll the behind the wheel training it is a 6 hour training course. After completion of the course behind the wheel school will issue you a form OL 392. For doing behind the wheel training course teen should be at least 15 years and 6 months old.
Step3:
To DMV you have to take DMV form DL 44 along with Course completion certificate provided by the course providers and behind the wheel training certificate which was provided behind the wheel training school, with these three forms you have to pass written traffic law and sign pass.
Step 4:
Here again you have to take behind the wheel training course, this is 6 hours course which you have take with your parents or guardian.
Step5:
Here comes the hardest part among all the process, here you have to drive the car continuously for 50 hours with your parents. Out of 50 hours of journey you have to drive 10 hours in the night.
Step6:
Apply for your driving license, for applying for the driving license California teens should be atleast 16 years of age. Be cautious book your dates at DMV.
